Hello, dear Elvis enthusiasts, and welcome back to our musical journey! We can't thank you enough for being a part of our exhilarating adventure as we crisscross the country, fueled by our shared love for the one and only King of Rock 'n' Roll, Elvis Aaron Presley!
Colorado Elvis Festival: A Blast in the Mile-High City!
Our recent escapade at the Colorado Elvis Festival in Denver, CO, was nothing short of a BLAST! Hosted by the incredible Unreachable Star Entertainment and emceed by the dynamic David Allen, this festival brought together a constellation of headlining stars, including David Lee, Dwight Icenhower, Jimmy Holmes, Joseph Hall, Nevan Castañeda, Nick Perkins, Moses Snow, and our very own Cliff Wright, Radney Pennington, and Kasey Hutchinson. The energy throughout the weekend was sky-high, and by the end of the week, the hotel felt like a second home. We're deeply grateful for the many new friends we made and for witnessing our Infinit-E family circle grow so rapidly! Your incredible enthusiasm and unwavering love for the music keep us supercharged and ready to rock. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
Oh, we can't help but do a little bragging! Denver was a remarkable event for us vocally, and we're bursting with pride. First up, we had Cliff and Kasey taking the stage by storm with their untouchable "Oh, What A Good Thing We Had" tribute as Johnny Cash and June Carter. The crowd couldn't get enough, and by the time they left the stage, they had everyone eating out of the palms of their hands. Radney Pennington followed suit, sweeping the entire room with goosebumps during his tribute to Roy Orbison. Truly, a magical moment. But the magic didn't stop there! The entire group had another standout moment when they joined the ultra-talented Jimmy Holmes to sing "He Touched Me" during the Gospel set on Saturday afternoon. You can catch that unforgettable performance right here: https://www.facebook.com/100000418444338/videos/1028428128197598/
The entire festival was a whirlwind of unforgettable moments, both on and off the stage. There are simply too many to recount, but rest assured, all these entertainers brought their A-game and worked tirelessly to ensure that every member of the audience had a show worth remembering. It's moments like these that remind us why we do what we do and how powerful music can be in bringing people together.
From the euphoria on stage to the camaraderie off of it, the Colorado Elvis Festival in Denver was a weekend we won't soon forget. We're grateful for the opportunity to share our passion for Elvis' music with all of you, our wonderful fans and friends. Stay tuned for more thrilling updates from our musical escapades, and keep the spirit of Elvis alive with us!
***On a heavier note we're sending love and strength to our friend Jeff Lewis. Our hearts are heavy as we pause to send our deepest thoughts, prayers, and love to our dear friend, Jeff. In this moment, we'd like to take a break from our usual upbeat updates to share Jeff's own words and offer our support during a challenging time.
In Jeff's own words: "Hello friends. Thank you for all your wonderful prayers and thoughts. I believe they all helped." These heartfelt words remind us of the incredible power of community and love.
Jeff recently experienced a health setback, a result of a head injury that occurred a few months ago. While we may chuckle at his mention of the "hilarious escalator incident," the reality is that this injury eventually led to a seizure. Jeff's journey took an unexpected turn, and he found himself on a hospital gurney with paramedics rushing to his side. He candidly admits that he may not have been the most cooperative patient, but he also recognizes the immense importance of those on the front lines of healthcare, who work tirelessly to care for individuals in their most vulnerable moments.
Throughout this challenging experience, in typical Jeff fashion, his spirit remained unbroken. He describes these days as "rough" and "eye-opening," with some particularly challenging moments, such as the MRI scans. But his resilience, along with the support of great doctors, nurses, friends, family, and the power of prayer, has led him back home.
Jeff's message reflects not only his gratitude for those who have reached out to him but also his determination to make positive changes in his life. His commitment to attending the upcoming Mt. Dora Elvis Festival is a testament to his spirit.
As Jeff said, "God bless..." We echo those words and add our own: Jeff, you are in our thoughts and prayers. May your journey ahead be filled with strength, love, and positive changes. We're here for you, our friend.
If you have the ability to offer support there is a link below where you can go and donate to help Jeff with his medical bills. It would mean the world to Jeff and to us if you were able to contribute to helping our friend Jeff:
With love and strength,
The Infinit-E Team
Thank you all for your boundless love and enthusiasm. We couldn't do this without you!
